RGT3020 and neck..

Hi everyone as you see, i'm totally new to this forum . I got a question about rgt3020 more generally neck thru guitar necks of ibanez, as i see 3020's neck is 2mm bigger than the wizardIIs and i couldn't decide is it worth to not to buy a guitar for 2mm because i really love thin necks, what do you think about it, is it as good as wizardIIs? Another question is, i will buy rgt3020 from a price of 1100$ is that guitar worth it and what do you think about it's colour sunburst? Thanks...

i have held an RGT3170 (basically same as the RGT3020 but in HSH config) and do not like the neck profile. too thick, way thicker than my RG2550's (super wizard), and i don't like its glossy finish either.

according to ibanez's site it should be 2mm bigger than wizardIIs..

I have an RG2820 which I believe has the same neck profile, I like the neck alot. It just takes some getting used to, that's if your used to playing fairly thinner necks. I would imagine that the gloss finish on the RGT3020 would take some getting used to, however you can fine sand the finish, so I have heard, it's supposed to be very easy, you can use the steel wool.

The 2820 doesn't have the same neck as the RGT. The 2820 has a viper neck I think, and is quite small.
The RGT's neck is huge!

The RGT's for 05' are all Wizard

the 2820 has an Ultra neck, it's the same as the 03' 2620..
