RT650 Does anyone know the specs??

My catalogues indicate the RT650 like the rest of the RT series was produced only in 1993 it's year of introduction, being replaced by the RX series in '94.

It had an Alder body with a gravure (photoflame) maple top. The pickups were in a H-S-H configuration

neck - V7
middle - S2
bridge - V8

It came with a TZ-6 bridge with magnum lockingtuners finished in chrome. It was available in trans red, trans blue and dark amber finishes. The tone pot had a push pull coil split for both humbuckers and the rosewood fingerboard was bound.

Hope this helps

I've had two of them. (one was a 12 string) *The body style is very similar to the RG body style, but it is more round than pointy at the tips of the cutaways. *The pickguards were simulated tortoise shell. *24 fret neck too. *For the money they are good guitars, assuming that we're talking the $300 price range.

Hey, about that 12-string, what was the tuning stability like? *Tone? *I've heard 12-string electrics are hard to keep in tune.
