RX240?

Just trolling for comments on the RX240. I'm selling mine, but I plugged it in to make sure it's all working properly and set up right, and I forgot how decent it sounds! Just running straight into my Marshall, it's got a good tone, the pickups really do sound decent (both the HB and singles), and the neck feels good, even though I'm a Wizard junkie. I see some reviews that it's got a bright sound because of the body wood (maple), but I don't hear it. For blues or SRV-style rock grooves, it's not bad at all. It's pretty heavy too. Very dense body wood, I suppose. To quote Nigel Tufnel, "It's got great sustain..."

Anybody else got one?

I have the body of one...I matched it up with the same RX series all maple neck, some DiMarzios, and turned it into a really good Strat-type guitar. All this before the AT100 was reissued, for about 1/3 of the price.

There ya go. I thought about trying to pick up an RX maple neck for the same reason. I like the neck on it now, but maple would be a nice mod. Throw an AT humbucker with a couple of cruisers in there and you'd be set!
