Ibanez catalogue says "fr double lock bridge", which seems inferior to the Lo-Trs...the Lo-Trs being something most people here would advise you to stay away from...If you are looking into Ibanez's, you'd want to get an Edge or Lo-Pro Edge guitar (S-5xx, RG 5xx)..

My RG 270 has the Lo-Trs, I think...The S-370 I demoed the other day had a much different looking trem and didn't have strings going in from the trem itself like my 270...

I have a SA-160qmtg with a sat 30trem too.....but that's a whole different pile of worms..

Ibanez catalog says Trs 101 bridge on the low-end S's. It may be the 1LT bridge now out on the new Rg 2xx's.

Hmm.. my catalogue says they have the ilt1-bridge. Never played it, but some people on this board say it's slightly better than the TRS2.

Is that good...What should I be looking for in Ibanez trems? What should I stay away from? Any info here will make my next purchase a better one..SAles clerks are not to be trusted..

Well, take a look at the trems page right here on jemsite. They have detailed descriptions of the 2 bad-ass trems ibanez currently has on their mid-and upperclass models. Get one of them if possible.

I have never played anything with a trem that I liked until I got my RG565 with a low pro edge and I'm totally hooked. I can't tell you what to stay away from, but I can positively recommend the low pro edge.

As far as i can tell:
QUALITY

1.Lo-Pro Edge.
2.Edge (same as lo pro, except easier to make notes go sharp by palming trem)
3.Lo-TrsI/Original Floyd/TRS 101/ILT1
4.Lo TrsII
5.Single locking generic ibanez trem.
