S Series, need thoughts

Hey all,

I think I have finally decided on the pickup combo I am going to go with on my 1990 S540. Swapping out the stock F1 and F2 pups, I will be using an Al DiMeola neck model and a Megadrive in the bridge, keeping the C2 (rebadged HS-2) in the middle position. Any thoughts? Anyone else use either of these in their mahogany S series?

i have the Mega Drive in one of my S540s, i like it because it has this warm but aggressive midrange that induces clarity.
