Re: s series question

they're kinda rare, i only remember them making that guitar for three model years (1992, 1993, 1994) and even when new i don't remember ever seeing one in a store. i've seen them on the auction site every now and again. they were called just s540 (or maybe 540s in '92) and differed from the s540ltd only in the fingerboard, inlay, and paint. if you're interested in it, keep in mind that it sold for a little less than an s540ltd new and don't get hosed on the price.

Re: s series question

Is it a 470 or a 540? 470 would have a TRS bridge and 540 would be Edge or Edge LoPro.

ovals are pretty much the dead giveaway that it's a 540. but in today's world of **** and jemsite...sometimes we do get parted together customs like never before.
