s series question

sup,

ive been looking for pics of an saber witha reversed heastock for some time now, i read somewhere that i was an option once but hevent seen any, does any one have any pics or could take any of there saber, Also i heard somewhere that the older sabers where thinner than the newer ones, does thiss make a difference and does anyone have pics to compare the size.

Yes, I bought a DY 540 off of evilbay a few years ago - dots with a reverse headstock. That guitar has since had several neck changes - including a 540P-II reverse sharktooth inlay neck at one point. The reverse headstock neck is actually now on my 540R Redburst - I love tooling around with changing parts around:

I don't think I have any of the Saber as I got it, but here's one with the 540P-II neck (which is not on a triple coil 540P-I). It was actually an HSS guitar that we have since routed to an HSH:

The guitar itself wasn't much different from any other older Sabers, and the interesting thing about the neck is that it actuall has fret markers on both sides of the fretboard.
