s470 wood?

I know the s470 is mahogany, but is it some special type of mahogany? My s470 is just so heavy and dense relative to its small, contoured size. It's hard for me to believe there's nothing special or extra going on with it (ie, like a certain type of wood, finish, etc.).

it's a denser mahogony? that's a good thing it's heavy, it improves sustain and resonance.
