S7420FMTT Flame Top

I was wondering if anyone knows how thick the flame maple top is on the Ibanez S7420FMTT? Is it a thin veneer like the old lower end RG flame tops or is it 1/8" or 1/4" or something else?

I'm just wondering as if I get one I'd consider refinishing it, and the top thickness determines if this is feasible.

The S7420FMTT is a veneer top very thin. it could be sanded off.

yes it is very very thin. and probably would be hard to get the finish off without damageing the veneer. Better Idea. take the finish off. and redo the S7420 like a chrome boy
