I have always liked the S series (older Japanese ones). I say "about time" because people have been nagging them for so long. They only just did it, which is unbelievable. Should have made these years ago.

I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion. I have never said I don't 7's, I've been wanting one since they first came out (1990 or whatever).

Ibanez has finally done it!!! The wait was very long. Let's now see if it was worthwhile, once the guitars are released to the public.

Ibanez's site has the picture in seven pieces, which is more than we are allowed per post on jemsite. So cosmic "made" the picture by taking a screen cap of Ibanez's site, cropping out the picture of the guitar, then hosted it on his photobucket and posted it on jemsite.
edit: err, it's 15 pictures and we're only allowed 7, or something like that.

Right, I'm with you. Why do they post images in 15 bits anyway!?

Re: So I guess they are making the 24fret S
all i have to say is that it does look classy, i think it was a no brainer, the 24 freaks like me are going to buy it, but i'm having some dubts about the tremolo, dont get me wrong i know it works but its no edge pro nor original edge...

why do you prefer 24 frets over 22? i loved the ZR the one time i played it. i dont like the original edge because it bothers me when i play, so i liked the sleeker tremolos

Re: So I guess they are making the 24fret S
Personally the 22 v's 24 frets isn't important to me, the fact that it's made in Japan is the reason I must have one.
I just hope that Ibanez put a reasonable price on them.
Rock on!

I know a little bit myself but I never understood posting pics in slices apart from to put people off stealing pics, but I can't imagine there's a reason to do it with that pic.
EDIT: I just said "pic" 3 times in a row. Ugh.

Hmmm... if there's still the same amount of data to load up I can't see this being the reason. One large pic or the same pic in fifteen slices, it's probably the same size in the end.
Ahhh, who cares anyway! Back to the topic!
