For anyone who's lazy...

I kinda wish it has some kind of binding or something. Or a sunburst QM finish. But I'm digging the matching headstock though. I hope "japanese-made precision" means it IS made in japan.

EDIT: The picture is 15 pictures in 1, and I can only post 7. How lame. Sorry bout that.

Hopefully it will be a bit lighter than the korean ones and come with the wizard neck instead of the wizard II but its doubtful. I'd still be interested in trying one out though.

I'm pretty sure he wasnt a fan of 7 strings either.

I can say now... (& have not been able to since I dont know when) that I'm optimistic about what may be available next year.

I don't think I can get used to a ZR bridge.. but if Ibanez can make the effort to bring back a MIJ S which has some features that makes it obvious they have been listening to what S players have been saying for the last few years..... then I can make the effort to at least try to get friendly with whatever bridge is on it.

Weather or not it's a hit with me personally I'm very happy to see that they are paying attention & bringng MIJ S's back. It shows me someone paying attention over there

Somebody's had it beaten into his head

I'll have them as soon as they ship of course, they haven't stated any priced yet and going back to MIJ you can expect it to be higher than the highest MIK is currently.

Re: So I guess they are making the 24fret S

Yeah I can't believe Ibanez listened. I mean a Japanese S series, with 24 frets. Eerie. They're gonna sell a ton of those - it looks awesome. I'm not a fan of the matte finishes on the prestige S's out now, and that one looks glossy - the way it should.
