So ugly, I LOVE it

220134618580

This thing is so ugly, I just wish two things:

1. it had jumbo frets
2. I had an extra $200 lying around!

I really like the natural finish ones, as well. I'm really gassing for one of these things, and I'm not sure why. Probably because it is a well-made Strat copy! Anybody else dig these old things?

Re: So ugly, I LOVE it

I don't think it's ugly at all. It looks more like a Blazer than a Roadstar to me though. But the Roadstars are great! I have a pink one that I absolutely love. I was having a blast with it all last night.

Re: So ugly, I LOVE it

Heres mine. I love it, awesome playing guitar.

Im ashamed of that pic. It looks so dirty. Shes in almost mint condition otherwise and plays great. I've got seymour duncans in it. I have a RG550 with a wizard neck and its different. I don't know what this neck is called but its smaller in width and the wizard is flatter. its more of a strat like neck.

Edit: BTW The model is RS135 or and nice red roadstar. That thing is awesome looking, plus the edge in there. great guitar!

I don't think it's that bad. I don't like pink, but whatever works for you.

In Back to the Future 1, Michael J Fox plays an Ibanez when he's auditioning in front of Huey Lewis lol.

With my being a girl, I always gravitate towards the more girly looking guitars I guess. I always wanted a pink one and this one kicks ass! I love it. At some point I'm going to buy myself that blue floral Telecaster too that was made by Fender Japan.

Re: So ugly, I LOVE it

Holdsworth used to play a Roadstar (or a signature model that looked like a Roadstar).

Yes, it was a signature model. It's just a Roadstar with a swimming-pool route and a custom-wound humbucker. The reason for the swimming-pool route was because it supposedly creates a clearer sound.
