I just got my RG back from my buddy, who was doing the custom paint work.
He's really done me proud - I hope you enjoy the pics.

Guitar is an Ibanez RG2EX1.

wow! amazing job! and wonderful pics! how did you get such great pics? you photoshopped white background? and what about those strap buttons? never seen them... congrats, it's just gorgeous!

Great. I love it. Don't be afraid to be patriotic. And that doesn't mean we have to be apologists and naive either.

But about guitars, it is definately a quality paint job for sure.

1. I think the "Smooth Creations" logo f#cks up the whole paint job.

2. A nice white Ibanez logo should've been added to the headstock.

Overall it looks nice.

I asked a friend to do the photography in his studio. He was happy to oblige, as he really enjoyed the "subject". He also did the photoshopping.

The strap buttons are Hennessy stap locks. I love them!

yeah i think the smooth creations logo makes it corny. although i wouldnt be that patriotic or even sport the flag on anything, it is a really really good paint job, it looks beautiful. the flag actually looks really nice aesthetically..good propaganda tool too

i mean i dont mind the artist taking credit for his work, but the smooth creations logo couldve been on the back or the headstock right under where the ibanez logo would be, but i think in that spot it ruins it

now just get white hardware, blue and red pickups and pickup rings, powder coat that bridge, lol

I think the artist incorporated the smooth creations logo well. It looks like a band name tag on something. I personally thought the thing was fake at first because of how good the art is.
