STRANGE S !

Please, look at that : 230276593568

the seller says it's a S540 but you can see a non-AANJ neck with the "Custom Made" inlay at the 22th fret !!!!

and a piece of binding is missing at the bottom of the fingerboard !

what do you think about that ?
Is it a customized one or a real (unknown for me) model ?

Nothing strange about it. It is an S540LTD. The finish, or lack of, maybe somewhat rare, but that's it.

Yeah, my brain said 'wrong' when it first saw it. There doesn't appear to be binding on the bottom, so maybe it's a 24 fret neck cut to fit a 22 fret and the person wanted to keep the 24th fret inlay? According to the description he bought it used, so a previous owner may have done it.

Then again the description states that the inlay is on the 21st fret. Also i don't know if there usually is binding on the bottom of the neck either.

Weird!
