SZ2020FM - your opinion

can I get anyones opinion on the SZ2020FM. its a 2005 model

apparently prestige but made in korea? is that true?

selling for about 800 pounds.

i played it the other saturday - sounds great. solid mahogany.

whats the general opinion on this guitar?

are there any other guitars in the SZ range that you could recommend?

it's a wonderful guitar, getting one this summer...

i tested it head to head with the SZ1220 which this guitar superseded & i certainly prefer this one albeit the Korean make. IMO 2 factors make this guitar preferable:

*the MMM1 bridge
*American Seymour Duncan/ IBZ humbuckers

FYI, the SZ/ S/ SA range are all korean, including the Prestige incarnation WEF 2005. of course, that doesn't mean they're worse off. only snobs would dismiss them by virtue of their country of origin.

I don't have any first hand experience with the prestige but I do have an SZ530QM and it is an incredible axe. The more I play it, the more I like it. Can't ask for more than that IMHO. If the prestige is better then man, that would be some special guitar.
