The RFR has arrived (pics inside...)

What a great little family



First impressions? The 20th is better than the originals. The pickups are hotter and scream more, it feels fantastic to play and it hasn't faded at all. Plus I've got #1798 - so close to 1987! All the right numbers, not necessarily in the right order...



I can't find any flaws in it so far, but I'm just about to play it and check it out for the evening. The guys in the shop were salivating and loved it! The setup out of the box wasn't too bad. The tech at the shop lowered the bridge a bit to bring the action down a touch but the nut was fine. My Desert Yellow will be another two weeks unfortunately, there must be a hold up on them. Maybe I'll get #1987 if it gets delayed even further...

Yeah, it's from Sounds Great. I'm getting their DY and RFR. In fact it was me that told them all about the guitars in the first place

They're got a black one in for sale if anyone is interested.

Damn every time I see someone else getting an RG20th RFR I wish I had the money to just go and pay mine right off and get to playing it! It will be mine soon though...
