Re: The RGA321

I don't see how it could sound 'better' just different, as all of the guitars you're talking about are of high quality.

I have a 121 with a D-Sonic in the bridge and a Breed in the neck, the woods are exactly the same apart from the 321 having a quilt.

The guitar can have quite an aggressive sound due to the fixed bridge, mine does inparticular but I'm also using 10 gauge strings, it's my main guitar and I think it's especially good for riffing due to the bridge.

Re: The RGA321

For better or worse (your preference), the RGA series has mahogany bodies instead of basswood, which is what all of your other guitars have. Not only will the tone be different due to this, it will be heavier as well

"Better" and "different" are often two words that seem to be used synonymously when people are looking for new gear, and they certainly shouldn't be used that way. Now it's easy to say a $2000 guitar will sound BETTER than a $200 guitar, but high end guitars in the same price range will often simply sound different, rather than better.

Re: The RGA321

i placed a tonezone in my RG 2550 and it sounds sweet but i'm looking for a more clicky sound so i was thinking about mahogany cause i heard a guy play on that wood and it sounded great so that lead me to this guitar
