SZ520 with alnico II pro and distortion.
early 90's S540BMAV with the gold swapped to cosmo. air norton and tone zone.
late 90's S540QSTK with air norton and tone zone.
late 90's SC420BC that i stripped because it used to me my main gigging axe back in the early 2000's and had more than it's fair share of bumps and bruises. air norton and tone zone as well.

Yeah, huge fan of the AN/TZ. I play a bunch of different styles. Most of which have a pop sensibility. I come from the 80s shred school like most here, but have been working on my jazz chops. Have played rock, funk, country, and metal. My forte is prog metal, but most of that is played on my 7's.

Last one for a bit, 1993 S540LTD in jade green. Overall in excellent condition with no fret wear at all, a small nick on one edge, and there and the usual corrosion on the trem. Headstock doesn't have any dings which is rare. Had a buzz on the low e-string I just could not get rid of so I took it to the luthier last weekend to have him look at it while he was doing a fret level and cleanup on my S1520. Ended up shimming it a bit and it's now buzz free with nice low action. Plays well. Swapped in an original F2 bridge humbucker and I may put the PAF Pro back in, we'll see. Has noiseless springs, brass screws and brass big block.

Unrelated, I'm kind of scared to ask but. . . . How much do S540OL's or S540CG's go for? You know, the ones with the maple fretboard? I'm GAS'ing so hard right now.

EDIT: Nevermind. Found the info I need. They go for about $700 on average. Steep. But I'm willing.

Can't wait to get the cash for one!
