I would have loved the shape back when I was 14.

The neck and headstock are great, though. I'd like to see those on another body such as the RG.

I like that it comes with Dimarzio's...something their Prestige guitars still can't do...

I've never played an MII neck-thru though, so I can't speak on that.

However the Edge III isn't a bad trem system at all, and along the road I can see someone spending $120 or so getting a Gotoh in there. But it's pretty darn good by itself for what it is.

The edges of the guitar are sharp. Might accidentally poke the player's rib. Equivalent to a bull's horn into the flesh.
