Time for new pickups

I have an RG770 that I want to put new pickups in. I have owned this guitar since I bought it new in 1993, actually this was my first Ibanez. Since that time I have bought many other Ibanez guitars, and they all have Dimarzio pickups in them. I have the stock IbzF2 in the bridge and F4 in the neck, and C3 in the middle. I was looking into either the Bare Knuckle nailbombs humbuckers or a set of the Suhr Doug Aldrich humbuckers. Has anyone tried either one of these in their guitars?

Re: Time for new pickups

I have Nailbombs in my Les Paul, and they are great. I also have one in an RG7421, where it has become my favourite 7 string pickup. I can't comment on the Suhrs, as I've never used them, and I have no idea what sort of tone you are looking for, but for a ferocious yet articulate tone the Nailbombs are brilliant.

Well I have a Dimarzio tone zone, steve's special, and evolution in my other guitars. I want something aggresive, but still well defined and articulate.
