Just spoke with Andy Timmons and he said Ibanez will reissue the AT's in 09'. Finally something from Ibby for us strat lovers.

What's the AT? Is it the same as his sig from last year?

Yes it is/was his sig with Ibanez. From what he stated the AT100 but I hope they will do the 200 or 300 also.

YEah, why did they stop for a year and then start up again. I thought Andy wanted to "use whatever guitar fit the situation."

When he did a clinic here in Richmond I asked why he stoped endorsing ibbys. He said he was never under any contract to use only Ibanez guitars only but just never renewed it or something like that. He said back then that they might reissue his sigs but wasn't sure when.

I don't thnk anyone is under contract to "only play ibanezes," well at least any of the big boys. All of them have been known to use a lot of guitars in the studio and elsewhere. Maybe PG is the exception.
