Tonal differance between RG550 and RG570

Just wondering if there is a tonal (or should that be toneal, I dunno) differance, that's noticable, between the RG550 and the RG570?
Cheers

The only difference is that one is rear-routed, one is front routed. But the maple board may make a difference in tone.

I wouldn't know for sure though, because I've never owned a maple boarded guitar.

Maple boards are usually a little brighter sounding, where the rosewood is warmer, but can get muddy sometimes.

The Ibanez maple boards have either a light, or no, finish on them and they are usually a little warmer than something like a Fender maple board, since the Fenders usually have a thick coat of poly on them, but the unfinished maple boards will still (usually) be a little brighter sounding.

It's all taste and what you're going for, I have a 520 (rosewood) and a 550 (maple), but it's hard to judge them apples to apples since the pups and the body woods are totally different (mahogony on the 520).

I used to live nothing but maple, loved the tone, but now I'm leaning towards rosewood, I've grown to want a warmer tone.
