trem questions

i just bought a new RG4EXQM1 in grey burst. First off, I think the trem is an Edge III but I can't verify this. Also, what trems can I swap it out for since Edge IIIs dont last long from what ive heard

Re: trem questions

Its an Edge III

You can get an OFR/Schaller/Gotoh LFR in there. I personally recommend the Gotoh LFR.

Re: trem questions

some guys talked about the edge III being nice and good... you should play it and in a few years... maybe change it... or look at it if it needs something

Re: trem questions

It was alright but it's very cheap. The trem i mean. I mean I could do divebombs and crazy stuff and it would still keep tune. But the saddles were weak once they came out of place during a divebomb

Re: trem questions

lower profile, no neck collar, just pop-in arm with easy adjustable torque, arm-bent is very similar to the Edge. Basically the closest feel to an Edge rather than OFR/Schaller.

Re: trem questions

no routing necessary, however, you "may" need to shim the saddle depending on your comfort/preference to adjust to the Wizard II radius.
