I'm new here.
I want to replace the crappy single-locking TRS-505 on my guitar and I want to know which double-locking trem will fit without modifying the guitar body (trem cavity and posts). Which one would you guys recommend? Probably will order one from guitarpartsdepot.com i want to make sure that I get the right one because I won't be able to return it if it doesn't fit (country-wise, long story...)
I really like the Gotoh FR, but I'm not sure will it fit because of the lock-screws. It looks like they're longer than the pins behind the saddles (underneath the fine tuner screws) on my present trem.
Also interested in TRS PRO or FR SPECIAL, but I'm not sure about the quality. Any suggestions?
Anyway, guitar model - RG unknown ( I'm guessing RG 270), S/N: F98 2 8 8 3 9 Japan.
