I've just got me a RG2820 like this one:

I've never had a guitar with floating trem before, and I was really supprised with how hard this was to get tuned up. I change the strings to EB 9-42, and the tension on thees was obviously not the same as the stock ones. I had to adjust the tremolo as well to get it "flat out" at the body. Once I got this done the tremolo is low set and the guitar stays in tune, but it was really hard to get there, and I spent like ane hour getting it in tune because when i got one string tuned up, the other fell out. Is this normal?
Also....is the trem supposed to lay flat down on the body? It kind of feels like the bending pitch decreases alot. I think pitch also decreases when I'm lowering the strings in the fretboard. Is this right? Can anybody post some sort of image or guideline how an
edge pro trem shoud be when adjusted? It would be great.
One last question: How hard should I tighten the string-locks on the bridge? Can it be too hard so that I will "cut-off" the string? I'm afraid to have it too loose so that the string strech out of the lock.
Besides from this....it plays great!
Thanks for your time!
