Trouble identifying an RG...

I went to the music store today and I saw an RG there that I've never seen anywhere. The specs (from what I could tell) are as follows:
Edge Bridge
Wizard neck (with reinforcement strip)
Rosewood fretboard (standard dot inlays)
V7/V8 direct-mounted pickups
Dark teal transparent quilted (I think) finish
Made in Japan, 2001

That's all I really remember, and the finish may not have been quilted, but it wasn't just a straight transparent finish. Lamanite top on it definitly.

I missed the "direct-mount" part, but they did make a model in trans-blue.

This is quite perplexing; well, it can't be an RG2020X or RG3120 because you said edge bridge and standard dot inlays. The only other guitar I can think of that it could be is an RG620QM (in saphire blue).

That shows the pic of of the closest thing, I remember the hardware being that color, and I had a flashback and I think that finish is the same color too. I'm pretty sure the pickups were direct mounted, but I could be wrong. I'll check back in a few days/weeks/years.

Yea, don't ya love how fast my site is dribbling data?!?! The Nazi bandwidth monitors put a governor on it. Should be cleared up in a few days as I change accounts.

Isn't teal a shade of green? Green-blue, maybe, but mostly green, no? Or does TB stand for Teal Blue?

Just so that everyone knows what the RG620QM is, here are the specs and a pic: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/world/guitar...s/rg620qm.html . By the way the blue is MUCH darker in person (about the same color as the RG520QSTB)
