Is there a point in upgrading tuners if I buy a locking floyd rose tremolo system?
The strings are going to be locked anyway correct?

Is your guitar equiped with nut locks / or will you be installing nut locks? Without nut locks your strings will still move through the slots in the nut and apply pressure to the tuners. If your tuners are inexpensive and thus unstable you will have tuning nightmares!!

Yes I will have a locking system. BTW How are wilkinson tuners?

Locking tuners can be quite handy on any guitar.

They make restringing a much easier process, and won't interfere with a locking nut in any way.

Never used Wilkinson tuners, but I have used Sperzel and Gotoh locking tuners , and they are both good.
