Used RG550 20th selling price?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum...

What's the price range for used RG550 20th anniversary models?

I've found one and judging from the picture (the owner is emailing more pics tomorrow) it seems like the guitar is in good condition.

How do the following details affect the price (if at all)?
-has had 2-3 previous owners.
-original case, cliplock, whammy bar -- but no paperwork, keys etc.
-the volume knob was repositioned about 1cm lower.

The seller is currently asking 700€ ($944). Fair?

They usually sell in the 8 to 900 range, number of owners doesn't really effect price as long as it's still in good condition. An original 550 usually sells for around 4 to 600 but can be had for less.

It's interesting to know. I've been trying to get an idea of what they are going for as I may need to sell mine, but there's not many for sale it seems.

Color matters as well. The black RG550RXX doesn't seem to get as high of prices as do the DY and RFR

That's what I figured. I have RFR, which is probably the most sought after. Hoping that helps me out.

I had my black on the forums market for $600. It's near mint except for a neck pocket finish crack and didn't have a nibble. I needed the cash at the time, but something else sold and I will probably take it to a broader market when the time comes to sell it.
