Vai Flame project almost done

I started this project a year ago and it is finally comming together. It was suposed to be painted and assembled by the builder of the body but after 10 months he sent me an unfinished body (at no charge) and washed his hands of the project.

I started with an Ibanez RG550 sold off the body and pickups and used the neck, hardware, and bridge. I ordered a custom color Dimarzio ToneZone to finish it off. I still need to tweak the setup and wire it up but I am very pleased with the way it is comming together. What do you guys think?

+1, that fireball came out REALLY good!! The guy on the bay selling them airbrushed flames is pretty cool too, but I like the original the best. Smart idea on that pickup color too!

He said he was having trouble painting it. There is another thread about it here.
