Very Happy With my New S540FM Purpleburst

She's in near mint condition, one tiny TINY chip and nothing else. I have an S540LTD as well, and I like this baby more. I'm a huge QM pickup fan, don't know why, I just am. Anyways, this ones a real beauty, I picked her up for 440 shipped, from evilbay, and I felt even better about it when I saw the last one close at 862!!! SHIPPED!!! WOW. I just could not resist, she plays SO smooth with such great tone. Maybe my new fav of all time, but the RG770dx I own is very VERY hard to put down as well... hmmmm...

very nice for a good price! I was looking at that one as well but my 540FMTK's keeping my mid-90's S gas in check
The bridge QM ain't bad for being an Ibanez pup... crunchy but not too loud. I don't like the QM neck though as it gets muddy and doesn't really "sing".
The cosmo black definitely makes that axe sleek though the stock gold is great for contrast (and i'm personally not into gold).

Nice!! The guitar looks absolutely beautiful I would love to see Ibanez bring some of the older color schemes onto some their newer guitars..
