Waiting for 1989 RG 760

I'm new here, so hello everybody. I had a 760 that I sold years ago and I've regretted it ever since. I found a used 1989 HP 760 at a decent price and now I'm waiting for the post service...man I can't wait!

I prefer any x60 over the x50 and x70 variants, I love a single coil in the neck position.

It showed up yesterday at 7AM, I was awakened by someone knocking at the door, it was the delivery person with the 760. It is in pretty good shape for a 24 year old guitar. The neck/frets/hardware are nice. There are some dings in the body but nothing big,it is really playable.

The only somewhat downer is that somebody put a pick guard on there but it has been removed but the screws are still there,so I guess I'm going to have to put one on on there. Also, there is no tremolo arm so I'm going to have to get a replacement.

I'm been a Fender guy for the last ten years so I'm a little clueless about specifics for Ibanez parts etc. Would a replacement tremolo arm for 1989 760 be an Edge?

Yes. And the Edge, the Lo-Pro, and IIRC the Edge Pro all use the same arm.

Another downer is that the wife isn't happy that I've purchased another guitar. Oh well, I already want to get a 550,I wonder what she will say then. I'm glad we don't keep guns in the house.
