Re: what 110 bucks gets you in a used s series....
i have buffed and waxed it sense i bought it.....it actually was a dull white black because he thought it would be a swell idea to clean it with tooth paste. some of the minty goodness is still inside the neck joint.....
and hey we all write out our name in sharpie and scribble it out in pen right??
but hey.....better leave the plastic protector on the truss rod cover wouldn't want that getting messed up.
and god only knows what this is.....
i have to buy a new lo-trs for it because well half the pieces are gone, maybe he used them in his erector set.
not pictured but a stud in the body is missing 2.
i really like the guitar tho its an s470, if i hadn't just moved to Nashville i could have had it painted in about an hour by my uncle who painted all my guitars but now i cannot get it painted so easily...anyone from Nashville who knows where to get guitars painted relatively cheap?

had to do it you should have saved your money for a new one the parts and replacements will cost you almost as much as a brand new s series guitar.

New paint job 200 to 400 dollars, lo trs trem 50-60 dollars, pickups 100-200.
so lets say you get everything cheap
200
50
100=
350+ the 110 you used to buy it in the first place you have about 460$
you could have bought a nice 87 sabre off teh bay
if seen em go from 300- 600

+100!! Or at least a Near Mint used one that Freddy Kruger at the age of 5 didn't play with.

I would say for $110 you got what you paid for, a beater S series you don't have to worry about hurting. I've gotten a 550 for $110 and it was perfect except body chips, but I got lucky and really did get a deal.
For $110 you really have no reason to be pissed though...

If you need any bits from a LO-TRS II let me know, I've got an old black one sitting in my parts box at home. If you are willing to pay for postage and I have what you want you can have whatever bits you need.

What do you mean by body? Or do you mean the saddle, and 5 saddle blocks? My posts are stuffed unfortunately (that's why the trem not on the guitar anymore), but I may have some chrome ones that will fit that I got with a cheapy trem that I put on the guitar until I got a decent trem.
What's your postcode? I'll see if I can work something out.
