What bridge is this? (tough to tell from Pics)

Hey, it's a RG 550 obvousily and I believe it is a 92 model ( serial # is F927404 and it has the heel joint so it's gotta be a 87-92 model). From these pictures which are the best pics to see the bridge I can't really tell if its a Lo-pro or a Edge.

On Rich's site, in the 92 catolag it says 92 models came with Lo-pro, so that's why I think it is a Lo-pro. I am cool anyway! Big improvment over my Edge 3 hehe. I asked the guy what it is but I don't think he will get to my question anytime soon, but you guys will!

serial number denotes an '89 model. it'd be an original edge.

Ah k thank you guys!

I wanted original edge a little more anyways!

Why is it 89 if the first to numbers are 92?

for six digit serial numbers, use the first digit.

I gotta ask: If you don't have the guitar in front of you, and have not actually PLAYED it, how do you KNOW it's a big improvement over your Edge III? I have an Edge III, and have not had ONE problem with it.

Re: What bridge is this? (tough to tell from Pics)

So have I. While the Edge trem on all my old Ibanezes WERE the best, IMHO, the Edge III is a damned good trem system. Doesn't FEEL as stout as the original Edge, but hold tune JUST as good, in my experiences, and I'm not just content with bombs. My vote for the SUCKIEST trem , thus far: The Lo-TRS II.

Re: What bridge is this? (tough to tell from Pics)

My Edge III works well a good amount of the time, but if I dive bomb constantly it'll go flat easily.

But I normally pull up as much as I push down, so it normally evens out and stays in tune nicely.

Would an original Edge or original Floyd Rose fit in the Edge III spot?
