What do you people think about the RG320 2003 model?

Well i was gonna get the RG1527 but it's a little too expensive for me so i am going for the RG320 2003 model with the new edge pro bridge, what do you ppl think about this guitar?

Though i really like the RGT42 (RP - my fav colour!) but the 2002 bridge i hate and the 2003 version is more expensive than the RG1527 Plus, it's a thru-neck so when i want to replace the neck, i gotta probs replace the whole guitar! Since the neck is attached to the body.

The 320 is not bad, but I'd go for a 570 on blowout for even less $$.

I dislike the single coil on guitars tho the pickups are better i admit, i am looking for one which has only 2 humbuckers and the RG320 seems to have this.

So does the rg 520 which is no longer made. You can still pick one up, New old stock, off ebay and at various other guitar shops. These are becoming a popular item*shameless plug* so hurry and get one

Yes yes, RG 520. I have the RG 520QSTB and LOVE it. :-)

A little dark, but still pretty, great action, great neck and even the stock V7 and V* Pups aren't bad at all.

As long as you're not expecting a Prestige neck (but still better than a Jackson, hehehe), you'll probably love the new 320. I do. I'm gunna pick one up as a backup soonish.

Its still cost effectice to get a 520, which is a superior guitar, and if still in production, would now be a prestige model. Oh well. Bring this guitar back ibanez!!

FWIW, I spotted a 520QS on closeout for $289.

Yes! Where?

I'd buy an entire room full of those if I could find them. I LOVE my 520.

The "special" 5 way switching is great, it gives me all the tones I use, the neck is sweet (Wizards are ALL sweet, in my opinion) and it's just a very well put together guitar for the money.

Dude thats my point, its an obviously quality guitar, and in my opinion superior to the 570 which comes with a basswood body. Just because they discontinued the model doesnt mean anything. I know many devoted 520 series fans

Depends on where you are. I'm not seeing any blowout sales in Australia. Therefore faced with a choice between a $1695 570 and a $795 320... when looking for a backup... hmmm...

I suffer the same problem as you do Petie, there isn't any blowout sales here in U.K, no knock off prices on Ibanez guitars. Gotta stick with it's orginal price while in U.S, they get a big knock off! eg: the RG7420
