What happen to this PGM??

I found it from some Paul Gilbert's fan page
It said that it is living at the HARD ROCK CAFE in LOS ANGELES

Look at it
Are this a fake PGM?
Why the switcher and the knobs are at the RG position?

I think that's the original Paul Gilbert guitar... the one RG he used, where ibanez later based the PGM model. Looks like a RG 770(i'm really not sure of this) in jewel blues with pink painted f holes...

PGM should be without any tone knob
and the switcher and the volume should lie with the F-hole...

It's definately not a fake, it's most probably a pgm100 prototype...pgm100 was the very first pgm to be released, if I'm not wrong it debuted in 1992-93.

I really like the looking of the PGM 100.......

I alwys hope Ibanez will re-issue them with AANJ

In Ibanez.co.jp, PGM30 has another version with the colour of PGM100
however.....it come with DOT inlay, Ibanez stock pickup and lo-TRS II instead of lo-pro...

Hey glad to see a PG and PGM fan here!
My fave pgm has to be the light baby blue one with the pastel pink F holes....very nice guitar. I really like the pgm100 as well. And the PGM500....the best fixed bridge guitar in my book!

PG's gonna be stopping by singapore on the 27th for a clinic! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!

Chris.

YA......that's PGM200?
But the PGM i like most is the one which.....I think is just a custom for him
Red colour with light blue f-hole and hardware
ya,light blue hardware.....i think they paint them
with sharktoth inlay

I think this PGM didn't sell to the public
But I remember last year
When he came to Hong Kong
Someone gave him this guitar for sign!
I dunno where did he buy that guitar

he is going to have guitar clinic for "South East Asia Countries"......but don't know not including HK.........
sigh....

what PGM(s) u own?

Hey, more PGM fans! I love the PGM series. I'd really love to pick up a PGM200 to go with my PGM100. The PGM90 is my all-time favourite, though.

I bought a PGM100 after selling a JEM777 that I wasn't happy with; the PGM is much nicer. If they reissued the PGM100 with an AANJ, I'd be the first kid on my block to buy one.
