It will be far easier to buy a Floyd Rose/Schaller/Gotoh trem. I recommend the Gotoh as it's the cheapest, and is the better design in my opinion. It feels quite a bit like the Original Edge (Gotoh make the Edges). Too much work for an Edge Pro.

i really want to install the double edge pro, or try out an edge pro and maybe try to put the piezo sensors/saddles in myself.

i don't know anything about this kind of stuff. what will be so difficult about it?

i'll end up paying a luthier to do it, is it going to cost a lot?

You will most probably have to route out the trem cavity, and if you get a double edge pro more routing for the electronics. A luthier will probably charge you a bit for that work. Plus buying the trem will probably cost you more than the guitar itself.

the edge pro I think costs about $250 plus I don´t know how much would it cost but the luthier is gonna charge quite a bit for the routing and all that stuff. At the end that is gonna cost you more than the guitar itself.
