What Model Ibanez is this...?

Just picked this guitar up and it appears to have Ibanez on the headstock but no model information on the back of the neck or in the body. Does anyone know more about it?

Anyway, judging by the picture provided it looks like an RG270. Not 100% though, the trem doesn't look like an original Ibanez one, may have been upgraded.

I'm kinda thinking Chinese knock off but I'm relatively new to IDing Ibanez so take that with a large grain of salt.

That appears to be a total fake. Everything is totally wrong, the font, screw holes, cavity cover, everything.

I sincerely hope you can return it.

As Ayrton has said it appears to be a fake for sure. It just screams out. You'd usually get the RG model stamped in the neck pocket and/or on the neck heel as well.

I just noticed the headstock has an old trem bridge truss rod cover, but it shouldn't because there is no bar...

And yes the volume and tone pots do look a little big for the body.

Shame, it looks quite authentic at first glance.

Sorry to inform you it looks like a fake.
The pickup rings look misaligned.
The checkmark on the logo is off
The "RG Series" font looks wrong.
The holes at the back of the neck joint look off. Inside the neck pocket, it looks like they were made with a hand drill.
No model and serial number on the back of the headstock.
3xx series necks have nuts that secure through the neck with a pair of small allen bolts. The nut on this guitar seems to screw in from the front.
There isn't a recessed route on the back for the electronic and trem spring cover plates. I'm not sure if the RG1xx series plates sit like this, but I think they need to be recessed into the body so that the plates are flush with the wood.
The 12th and 24th fret markers look pushed out to the very outside edges of the fretboard.
The tone and volume pots look wrong.
INF and (I think) Powersound pickup wires are sheathed in grey material these days, not black.

Sorry to tell you this...

The only way I can see this being legit is if Ibanez has been hit hard by the economy and is sourcing former copycats as new suppliers.
