Re: what RG is this?
I already did. It's a neck-thru, Japanese made RG with two IBZ humbuckers and a single! It has a Lo-
Pro Edge
. What more can I say?

I like the swirl - looks kind of psychodelic. maybe it is girlish but there's plenty of people who think neon pink and FP Jems are girlish too.

I just looked at it closer [than I did the first time], it's no American Master, I'm not positive what it is. Could be LACS, who knows, I don't.

Re: what RG is this?
I was thinking a Japan only model? Maybe a Japanese store exclusive. I have no clue, though.

Unfortunately not, unless you count Rich.
I'll look through my many thousands of Ibanez RG pics tomorrow.

Re: what RG is this?
I'm thinking it could be an Ikebe or Ishibashi exclusive, or maybe just an Ibanez model only for the Japanese market.

Re: what RG is this?
No way. Not with IBZ USA pickups and a Lo-Pro trem. That's 100% Japanese, I guarantee it. You won't find one anyway, I pretty much guarantee that too! It certainly is an RG series guitar, though, and not all RG's have "RG series" on the headstock. In fact I wish they had never put the "RG series" logo on them, which only appeared in 1994, btw.

Re: what RG is this?
You can call me "mental" if you like.
I know a little about RG's. As for other
Ibanez guitars
, not so much.

I second that...You don't have to have "RG Series" on it to tell that it's an RG!...I like the cleaner look of the Ibanez name only.

Re: what RG is this?
Just my 2 cents but look at the pick up cavity routering it looks a bit to rounded (just like the chibanez ) you don't get that routering on Ibanez guitars and the mid pup the number is on the top of the pup ,plus the hum buckers don't have the logos on them in the swirl pics ,they do on the black RGT and the gap between the neck and the pup is way to wide . There two different guitars in my opinion.
