What RG Is This? - Hardtail

Ok, a local pawnshop had a really nice looking RG and I can't figure out what it was:

Hardtail
H-S-H
24-frets
Maple fretboard
burst finish (can't remember colours, something natural-ish in the middle)

I may be wrong on the fretboard material and p-up config, but if anyone can post pics of possibilities, I could spot it if I saw it again. *It was really nice, in 100% perfect condition that I could see.

No, I must confess the only H-S-H RG Hardtail I remember is the RG470FX. That I think came in black with a rosewood board.

Someone needs to get piccies, even if Glen has to buy it in order to obtain them

Sounds like a PGM with a re-finish. Sounds good though. The 470FX was definitely a rosewood, and there was also a RG521, but only had a H-H config.

There's never been a PGM with a hardtail and maple fingerboard. *The only PGM with a maple board is the 300, but that has a LoPro.

I know the 470FX also came in blue at least, but I've never seen one with a burst finish. *I've never seen any Ibanez with both a fixed bridge and maple board. *It's possible it's been customized, or that it was a spot production model.

When I played at my school's Battle of the Bands, the guitarist in the first band had the exact same guitar you guys are mentioning. All the same specs. The wear on the frets was pretty heavy so it had been played alot. So I guess there are at leats two in the world.

yeah you're right, all the fixed bridge PGMs had either rosewood or ebony. At least the production models anyway =)

Anybody know if the RG521 was ever imported to the US? I saw one on Ebay a couple times, but I'm not sure if those were brought in through alternative channels.

As I said, it may not have been H-S-H. *It may have been H-H. *And I think it's been gone from the store for a while so I can't really check. * I'll check anyways though if I can.
