At least it has a locking neck and a "whammy bar that gives you a full octave in either direction without pulling the guitar out of tune"

No doubt. You can have it. Hamer guitars are just awful. And a $12,500 bin? Unless you are big Sammy fan (and who in their right mind is?), this thing is worth barely $400.

And what is with the auction? He lists that the guitar has active double EMG pickups but I see only one pickup.

Im sure back in the early to mid 80s there were a ton of Sammy fans. He probably still has a few fans that would pay it, Butt Rock will never die. Personally, I've driven 55, it's not that hard of a task to accomplish.

I've driven 20 in school zones and it was a breeze.

I can't even think of Sammy as a (real) guitarist because I've never heard anything that he did that merited me doing so.

I love how the rock star wrote some really nice encouraging words on it and now it's up for sale. It means a lot to the seller . . . unless you have a lot of cash, then it doesn't mean much at all. Ugh.

I like sammy. I thought he did a pretty good job filling in the solos on Van Halen's live without a net concert DVD. That being said, that price is way to high.

Yeah Sammy isn't Vai but he's not Kurt Cobain either. I mean he's a decent player who can write a good song and sings real well...
