Whats with Ibanez?!?!!??!

I bought a brand new RGA121 for 900USD. I played it for a few days and I had trouble lowering the action. Then I noticed that each fret was a COMPELTELY different height!!!!!!!!!! The neck was also warped and toggle was wired out of phase! The pickups suck too. V7 and V8 those are the worst pups ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not trying to bring down Ibanez! I love them! I just dont get how a brand new guitar thats never been touched could have that many problems!

Hmmm. Guess that's why you should have bought from Rich at Ibanezrules.

Sounds like you got a lemon. I bought one recently from an online site and had zero issues. It's awesome. Wasn't set up too well but had not flaws like you mention. Take it back and get a replacement and it should be fine.

I have no problem with the sound of the pickups either. Maybe it's your technique.

Haven't had any problem with ibanez before including the gio's that's swarming in asia region, they all play nice and friendly, hell even the jem 333 plays good too

Never had this problem before with Ibanez guitars. Maybe you just got one bad apple. Change the damned guitar man...

How much do you know about setting up guitars? I've never taken home any new guitar (unless it was custom built for me) without it going to a tech first for a complete set-up. That's why I bought my PGM301 from Rich @ Ibanez Rules!

Please provide more details. How did you make this assessment? How much of a difference is there in millimeters?

Are you saying the neck has bow or backbow? Please define what you mean by "warped".

Which positions are you referring to that sound "out of phase"? Did you read the manual about how the pickup selector works?

There can't be anything wroing with the pickups. You just don't like how they sound. You either should have tried the guitar before you bought it or been prepared to replace the pickups immediately.

It's a production line guitar. It's the luck of the draw.

If it's as bad as you say, why did you buy it? If you know how to do a proper setup, you should know how to identify such flaws...

But aside from that, are you sure it's an Ibanez and not a Gibson that looks like an Ibanez?

Are you sure it's acutally brand new? Are you sure it's genuine? Doesn't sound like what Ibanez usually make.

Yep - occasionally newbies from the Ibanez factory can lack in quality control. (including Jems) Play her first if you can!!
