Anybody else a little too patient when it comes to buying on that one unmentionable auction site? I always ask questions and wait for replies, I don't want to buy if the guitar has a major crack in the neck or some such thing. And as I wait for the seller to reply, somebody always has to sweep the item out from under me. You'd think I'd learn, but not yet.

This time it really hurt though. A red RG750 for $300. Yeah, $300! The shipping was $90 flat rate, and I took the time to message to get a more accurate cost. And of course ask important questions, because I'm skeptical of low prices sometimes. It still would've been a deal. But oh no, I'm far too patient and missed out. Anybody else see it?

You'd feel a whole lot worse if you had jumped in and gotten screwed by a bogus deal. When the deal seems to good to be true, it is probably one of the deals that gives EvilBay it's name. Shake this one off and go back to being skeptical and cautious.

Very true. I'll tell you, if it was almost anything but red I probably would've been quicker to buy. My last two guitars have been red. And before that it seemed like all I could find that was a good deal was in black. Maybe if I wait long enough to get through all the colors, I'll find a deal on a swirl jem
