Where are all the fixed bridge Ibanez's!

I know they exist, but I am having trouble sifting through all these Ibanez model names like RG4678DX1AD (exaggeration, but you know what I mean).
I used to play an RG100 and loved the fixed bridge because I tend to molest the bridge a lot when I play.

What I want is an RG-type guitar similar to my RG550 but with a fixed bridge. The first one that comes to mind is the Paul Gilbert line, so I went and looked a bunch of those up on the bay and they all have floating trem bridges! When I search for "Ibanez fixed bridge" I get all the cheaper ones like the RG400 series, etc.

So can I get some recommendations on a quality RG-type Ibanez with a fixed bridge? More specifically, one that is around the same quality as my Japanese-made 1990 RG550 (~$700). I am not interested in any Korean or Indonesian made models. I would prefer a model that is easy to find used.

Tremol-no!
Or fill the trem cavity and add in your preferred bridge

Why RG shaped? Go old school like I did. Ibanez Artist, baby. Just be warned, the bodies are solid Mahogany. They weigh like 47 pounds. At least, that's what my sore shoulder is telling me.

As you can see, there are plenty of options. You just need to dig a little more. Good luck!

Re: Where are all the fixed bridge Ibanez's!

"Where are all the fixed bridged Ibanezes?" I'll answer that by saying that Ibanez sells guitar that sell. And for them, the best market strategy has been to sell guitars with trems. I was hoorible with economics in school but even I can understand that.

Look man, I know it's not the same, but I block my RG's trem ('91 or 92 RG560, has a lo-pro edge). It works great and has a lot of sustain. No it' doesn't sound exactly the same as fixed bridge guitar but I can honestly tell you that I'm pleased and totally satisfied with it. I'll never worry again about whether or not a guitar has a trem on it if it has everything else.

Yeah, I'd like a fixed bridge RG too, but I'm not sweating blocking a guitar up at all, plus it's there if you want to use the trem which is always a huge temptation. It's not all that big of a deal at all.

If you are ready to buy in Japan there's the RG1521 that is basically what you are looking for:
