Which custom RG should I create? You choose. *Pics*

All right, sorry to make another thread, but I felt that this needed its own.

Now that I have found out where to get a custom refinish for my RG, I've decided to go with a complete RG overhaul. I've got three designs that I really want, but I need you to help me decide. Here they are:

RG Chrome VCH

I think the swirl is done, but the chrome has potential.

uowoww... That chrome is very nice.
i dont like too much color on my guitar.
fluorescent + black looks very contra...

i vote for the Chrome.

Nothing looks cooler than a black and green rg IMHO!

the DNA looks too sweet, forget it.
The black with green onlay is cool, only loose the pickguard!
the chrome is good, but too standard, just like the original bad horsie only with vine?

Well, it would actually be chromed (like the JS Chrome Boy) or sprayed in HOK chrome paint if I were to do option three, as opposed to a mirror plate like the JEM BRMR.

The only downside to the last two options is that I would need to get an ebony fretboard, which would add even more to the cost.

Dna swirl for me

The swirl is nice but i'd go with pyramids.

The black and green one is nice but has been done on the Jem7VBK and UV7BK, having the sharkfin inlays makes it a little different I guess, would make a cool RG.

The chrome one would be cool too but Jim has a vine on his Jem77BRMR which that looks similar to, would also make a cool RG.

Out of all those, I like the swirl. The Chrome one second and the black and green last. I voted DNA swirl.

Yeah guys, I think I'm really leaning to the swirl. I just got a message from Patrick saying that he could do the pyramids. The swirl would be more cost effecient too. Patrick at SCS doesn't do vines, so in order to get vines, the price would be substantially raised if I were to send it to Sims Custom in England. Plus, I would need a new ebony fretboard.

Swirl it is. I'll post pics once I get it. (Probably by December at the latest, I gotta save some extra cash)

BTW, what swirl combo's should I get? I'm leaning towards a Yellow, Red, Green, Black combo. But then part of me wants that screamin 80's neon pink in there too. hmmm

How about a desert yellow, lochness green, shocking pink, red, black and white?

I say keep the swirl simple, they're always the best looking. Busy swirls look awful. Too muddy, gotta get sharp lines.

Chrome it

I think I'll end up going with a red, blue, white, black swirl with blue/white/red pyramid inlays and red/white/blue pickups. Of course the pickguard and Edge will be black. I think it'll all go well together.

Either that or a LN Green, Shocking Pink, Desert Yellow, red, black combo with the original JEM pyramids/trims.

Don't worry chrome fans, that'll be my next project on my RG570.
