Which do you think would be a cooler guitar finish?

For my custom, I was going to put a flamed maple top, and maybe I still will, but It kinda discourages my that I cannot have the best of the best maple. So I had Ideas of different finishes for my RG. I can't decide which one!

Periodic table of Elements (with the metals most clearly visible \m/ )

Several functioning clocks with different times throughout the world

Elephants

Buddhist Art

Texas

What do you think? Any Ideas?

I am having the same problem. The periodic table sounds cool, although I don't think most ppl would get it. A few years ago I carved the symbol for Pi on a pumpkin for Halloween and everybody wanted to know" wha'd ya carve the chinese writin' on yer punkin for"

you do know how big the table is, right? I don't think it would look good all squished down where each one is the size of a postage stamp...

Haha... I like the Periodic table idea, or going with the science theme, you could put some of Newton's Laws of physics on there

Functioning clocks? Wouldn't the ticking show up in the pickups?
