750? You could always check the neck pocket.

Yep, definitely looks like a 750 to me too!
I picked up a 750 FA a couple of weeks ago. Here's a pic for comparison.

I did waylay00. The seller put it there to hide a little ding. I don't have a pic atm without the sticker.

XR4, the 550LTD looks great. I love any of the neon colours!

How do you like the IBZ/Dimarzio pickups in there? I particularly love the F2 pickup myself.

I must admit, i was quite suprised at how good the F2 sounds, especially after reading some peoples opinions on stock pickups, i was fearing the worst.
The F2 in the 1st position has a warm sound (which appeals to me), though at times it can be a tad too warm. I've asked the tech guy to lower the neck pup a smidge too see if that helps. The F2 in the 5th position sounds really good, not too much harsh top end. Overall, i'm happy with them for now.
Eventually, i'd like to get some green knobs and green pups, either PAF Pro/ ToneZone or Air Norton, we'll see

Actually talking of colourful pickups, XR4, purple pickups and knobs would look great on that 750. Checkout toshiro's 750. http://www.jemsite.com/forums/showth...t=48727&page=4

I never saw a 750 in that color before. Here's my old 1990 purple neon:

Hi IbanezGirl. That pic was taken on the day that I got it, it's about 4 hours old!

I only wish it looked like that now, you would probably want to kill me if you saw it! It was paint stripped in1994, but it had served me well and been through some rough times, as well as lots of gigs. I still use it, but I just got an RG3120DR (my first guitar in 16 years!) which is currently being shipped from USA, so I'll be retiring the 750 within the next few days.

Here's a of snap of the new one below. It'll be kept mostly stock (it has a Tone Zone and PAF Pro, so that's pretty cool) but I'll most likely replace the pickups with something else at some point, plus they'll be cream and black zebra coils. Can't wait to compare a mahogany & maple RG body with my old basswood ones. By the way, I love your 750 so much. You already know, I think. I would love one in that exact colour, it's just awesome. Kinda reminds me of my old RG550 road flare but a little more subtle. Can't go wrong with RF or FA! They are the best colours Ibanez has produced to date, IMO.
