Which RG should I keep? There can be only one.

'93 Ibanez RG550CA v. '01 Ibanez RG450DX (MIJ)

So this has been killing me. I have two RGs, and any more than one, in my case, is vanity. Both are Fujigen-made, both stay in tune, both play well, both sound practically identical. The 550 is worn a little heavier than the 450, but other than color, neck profile and a 'better' tremolo - though the MIJ LO-TRS holds up just fine - it's the same guitar.

So, for the sake of novelty, I'll let the internet decide. Let me know what you think, Jemsite.

Edit: To be fair, the 450 does play a little better. The difference is slight, but there.

If it was up to color on it's own, I'd say keep the blue one, but I'd keep the 550, because of the trem and also the maple neck looks really sweet.

If people are telling you to keep the blue one, they want to pick up the '93 RG550 for themselves as soon as they see the advert

I can't vote you didn't put the option "sell none to let the people cry for the red one".

Blue one looks nicer, and if they play the same then blue is a little more versatile than the red...

In what way is the blue more versatile than the red? Or did I miss something?

I think the blue one is a little less flashy looking which means that if he were to go to a session with it, it wouldn't raise as many eyebrows. Same thing if he were to play in a jazz ensemble, or a top 40 band, I think the blue lends itself to more styles looks wise, so is probably a bit more versatile...Just my opinion though.
