Who here owns an Ibanez RG770DX In Violet Metallic/Pink?

Oh man, I wish I could find a 770 over here in Japan... I'd kill for one.

Been offered this one for 800 us dollars. Quite a bit of damage, neck pocket crack, chips to body, laquer stains on fretboard and the botton of the headtock seems to have had some wood shaved off.

Pondering sell mine...it's a hard decision, I know you want one something awful and I am GASing for something new, and I have already sold off the red and blue one, just have to come down to price and shipping. PM me and we can discuss. thanks mate!

I too have one in mint condition, along with the red and blue. Probably never will sell these. Oh and the 565`s either....Nor the Universes........... I`m keeping them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me if the '92 RG770 neon purple model would have come with a clear pickguard? From what I can find I believe not but I have one in my sights that I'm tempted to get. If the pickguard was added later and not stock, and the guitar is almost mint would it be worth $650? I just love that colour and the sharktooth inlays! Thank in advance for your help.

Does it have a maple or rosewood neck?? Rosewood neck.....not original. Maple neck and it's original (or at least correct)

On a side note; Does anybody have both a VM 770 AND an HP (heather pearl) 750/760?? I'd love to see the colors next to each other........ I can't see a difference in pictures.
