Why oh why did I buy an ARTCORE?!

Artcores are great...well, most of them.
Today, in a sudden gas attack, I bought the $300 sunburst artcore (es-335 look-a-like...not sure of the #).
WHY?! I dont know. I dont even like hollowbodies.
Im trading it in for a strat tomorrow.
Anyone had any similar experiences? If I hadnt blow 300 bucks, this would be sorta funny

You bought it 'cause it was a good value . . . you ONLY blew three hundred dollars on a well-built semihollow with a nice burst finish that continues on the back and sides. Play it and you just might like it!

Post some pics man, rules are rules. I played an Artcore at a local Music & Arts store and I liked it a lot. If anything, lower the action on it and listen to some Avenue Blue and George Benson. The tone on that guitar is nice and sweet.

Ive been thinking about it. I may go and trade it in for the strat though.
x2n is a great idea!

Its a pretty cool guitar...feels weird, considering my only other axe is a JS. The tuners are crap, gotta say. Pickups are...meh. But it plays quite well, and yes, the burst is nice, even on the neck. Itll look great when it ages, if I keep it. Theres some icky glue at the neck joint, not much, but whatever. Great fret job...surprised me, actually. Binding on neck, body, F-holes, headstock, all great. Bridge feels nice.
Im gonna go back and A/B it to the strat. who knows?

I play my friends Artcore all the time, his is really nice and sounds great thru my rig after I Eq for it.

Its a different beast than you JS or what a strat is... I would say keep it, uless you are unhappy with is minor issues.
