Why the wide range of values in RG570s?
I am not looking to sale my RG570. This isn't one of those kinds of posts. I have just noticed that with the RG570s there is a lot a difference in the price for the same guitar. I picked mine up a couple of years ago for $175. I see them sell as high as $450 sometimes. Any thoughts?

Re: Why the wide range of values in RG570s?
IMO it's well worth $350, maybe even more. Very solid guitars. I think the varying prices has something to do with the fact that they aren't the most desired of the RG5** series.

Where'd you get one for $175?

Color, condition, year, and just timing all contribute to the market price.

Re: Why the wide range of values in RG570s?
All depends on the year, colour, hardware etc. I Have the RGR570, which I guess, with the Lo-Pro, bound neck and
reverse headstock
, makes it the more desirable/valuable of the 570 line IMHO.

Craigslist. 1991 Came with everything including the original Ibanez case. Had some chips in the paint. I decided to use it for my first refin job. Wish I hadn't but it still looks pretty decent. I just recently saw someone selling theirs on craigslist for $550.
